The hotel is situated close to the Nara park and since its a major tourist place, there are a lot of people even right in front of the hotel, especially after 9 am. The place of this hotel is good for traveling and discovering the beauty of Nara and/or the close by cities like Osaka and Kyoto. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is a bit smaller but enough for one person, although the lighting can be bad, especially If your window is facing the wall of the building next the hotel, like mine was, thanks to which there is close to none of natural lighting. Amenities were provided Daily. Overall I was satisfied with the service and can recommend it If you plan on staying in Nara for couple of nights.

The location of this hotel was nearly perfect between the Kintetsu-Nara station and Nara Station, on a bustling street in the center of Nara. Like the other APA hotel we used in Tokyo, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were so very nice and helpful, and the breakfast amazing. APA have earned our respect and will be our first choice the next time we come to Japan! Oh and there was a daibutsu ichigo stand right across the street!

The staff were nice and very helpful. The room was clean. Plus, it had an on-site cafe. The location was perfect for visitors who wanted to see the main sites, plus there are special municipality buses to the Giant Buddha and the deer park nearby, which are very low cost. The location is great for a walk around.

Good hotel in a good location , 10 min walk from the train station and 10 min walk from the nara park 😀 Good apa hotel but exceptional in a very good way , we took breakfast as well and I must say ! The breakfast was amazing! As we understood later it's a restaurant and it will be your best choice! 👌 it was my first time I was sad to leave the hotel I was in not because of the location of it ! This restaurant is gorgeous! Definitely will pick this hotel again ! And next time with evening meal!

I enjoyed my stay at APA Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae. The hotel location is good, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. I marked comfort level as good due to the fact the room is a standard small one suitable for 1 or 2 travelers. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Nara. Breakfast and welcome drink were excellent!

Google Maps is essential for traveling in Japan! This hotel is in a very convenient location in Japan. I traveled alone, and this was a good environment. The area provides easy access to Nara Park, Todai-Ji Temple, Mount Wakakusayama, food stalls, convenience stores, and more. I took the bus and train, but using Google Maps was easy! I just matched the bus number on the left side of the road and pressed the "stop" button when I wanted to get off. I only used public transportation because it was unnecessary to use anything else! Interesting perks about the accommodation: - 24 Hour Reception - Free Towels, Free Tea/Water - Baggage Storage (Before Check-in and After Check-Out) - Reasonable Check-In and Check-Out time - Friendly Staff (I was also able to exchange money to get coins to operate the laundry) - Room Key - Storage space under the bed - Luxurious feeling for a budget hotel - Good privacy - Common lounge - Easy Checkout - The hotel location is one of the best for exploring top attractions in Nara! I wholeheartedly recommend this budget-friendly hotel to anyone who values a comfortable stay with many amenities and easy travel access. APA hotels are a common sight in Japan, and for good reason: they are a reliable choice for budget-friendly accommodation!

Location is convenient, very close to station, lots of stores and cafes around it. Staff was absolutely lovely. Did not realize that connecting rooms actually meant 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, so that was a nice surprise. Laundromat was great. Mattress and comforter was the best in my stay in 4 cities!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was excellent, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. The personal service was kind and friendly. Near to Nara's park and also Nara station, well located. The hotel includes some amenities as toothbrush, toothpaste and more like a body towel, hairbrush. Also you could find next to the bed the air conditioner controls that will help you to control the temperature of the room as you wish. For me, it was the best option in Nara. The best APA hotel that I have stayed in.

I was amazed at the high quality of this hotel! I worked hard to find affordable accommodation in the areas I wanted to photograph during my time in Japan and I was really surprised how high-class the APA Hotel Kintetsu-Nara was! They said it was a “modern urban hotel” and it was really like a modern American hotel with bigger rooms than other Japanese hotels and a lot included for a really affordable price! - My photos are of the “fish option”brunch they gave me when I came back from my morning photography time. Amazing!
